Overview of your Melbourne tour
An excellent full day tour which starts by a drive through of Melbourne & Toorak, before heading to Phillip Island, during the drive down to the Penguins we call into a Dairy Farm/Cafe where we see cowes been milked. You will experience Koalas in their natural habitat at the Koala Conservation Centre. Next we will travel to the Nobbies and Seal Rocks which is home to the largest Australian Fur Seal Colony. As night falls we will discover the Penguin Parade, which is the nightly arrival of Australia's largest penguin colony with a population of around 35, 000. Watch the little penguins emerge from the sea and make their way with a waddle to their homes in the sand, The Penguin Parade is Australia's number one wildlife tourist attraction and is highlight of any visit to the area. The tour was absolutely AMAZING! We saw koalas and wallaby but the best was the penguin parade in a very secluded and private part of the beach. There was a total of 8 in the viewing group and we saw almost 300 penguins come ashore. Upon leaving the beach, it was incredible to walk amongst the penguins and hear thousands of them roosting. Our tour guide Peter was top notch. His knowledge of Australia and the flora and fauna was fabulous. He was personable and really made the day a very special experience

What a great tour! Peter was there on time and gave us a great impromptu walking tour of the city center as we got to his SUV. The tour itself was fun and informative! We enjoyed the dairy farm stop on our way to Philip Island, the Koala Center and the penguins (of course)! It was a long day but definitely worth it! Peter, thank you!
