Rick was incredibly accommodating. He customized the tour to meet our needs and provided a great infroduction to the history, culture, flora, and fauna of Victoria. Lunch at the winery was delicious and the setting fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Rick is outstanding. He comes across as a long time acquaintance that is giving you a tour of his local showing you what you want to see. The lunch location he selected provided great food and views. The wineries he selected weren’t the mass tours you see buses dumping cruise customers to sample. Rick has a nice relaxed style.
Rick was great showed us everything we wanted to see . Saw kangaroos in the wild which was a treat. We highly recommend Rick as he grew up in the area and is extremely knowledgeable. He has great PR skills.

We had a fabulous day touring with Rick. We were able to visit the Healesville Sanctuary --it wasn't crowded and we were able to see all the animals and also enjoy the presentations. Rick made sure we did not miss the "Spirts of the Sky" bird presentation which was fantastic. We visited a very quaint winery in the Yarra Valley and also made a stop at the local grocery so we could stock up on some local treats--"Tim Tams!" As we arrived back in Mebourne, we took a brief tour of St Vincent's Place--to see the beautiful historic homes with incredible ironworks. We had a great day and I would recommend Rick P. as a tour guide.
We enjoyed a fun and informative day with Rick that included visits to the Healesville Sanctuary and Dandenong Ranges. Rick led us through both areas, offering great commentary and information. Between stops, we had a nice conversation ranging from the local economy and politics to the area's history and culture. Although not on our original schedule, Rick also managed to squeeze in a brief driving tour of downtown Melbourne before returning us to our ship.
Meet at Port or Hotel at 8. 30 am (or other time by arrangement) We will drive past Melbourne landmarks on our way to the famous Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary. We then explore either the Yarra Valley and enjoy lunch at one of the many Wineries or head for the Dandenong Ranges with Puffing Billy a popular option. We keep our eyes open for wild kangaroos. . . Back to Port Melbourne or your Hotel between 5 and 6 pm.
