- I've been living in Zurich, Switzerland since 2002;
- I've been working as a tourist guide in Zurich since 2010;
- I've held a driving licence since 1993;
- I speak clear and understandable English, German and Russian;
- I take pictures on a full format photo camera Sony Alpha 7-2;

I am an open, very positive person with sense of humour.

My hobbies: skiing in the winter, windsurfing and kitesurfing in summer.
I really love music and dancing and so I often go to the opera, the ballet and various concerts.
I've been doing Zumba for over 10 years and I've recently taken up kite surfing. It's exhausting, but it's a lot of fun!

I also enjoy reading and spend a lot of time in the library studying ancient documents and works by historians.

I'm married and have two adult sons. My best friend is my Maine coon cat, with whom I enjoying going for walks in the local wood.

My job is my passion! I really enjoy welcoming tourists from all over the world. I like getting to know people from different cultures and feel happy, seeing the delight in my guests' eyes.

Zurich is often called the finance capital of the world. The head offices of the biggest and most respected banks in the world are located here.

You will not find any luxury palaces here, instead there are numerous authentic old churches, cosy enchanting cobbled streets, houses from the 13th century…
Zurich hasn't witnessed any wars for six centuries. The pace of life is slow. What's the point in rushing? The Swiss just don't get it…

The city is extremely tidy and sophisticated, but unfortunately - very expensive!
We will see Europe's largest clock on the tower of St. Peters, the famous stained glass windows by Chagall in the Fraumunster church, discover picturesque courtyards, cosy parks and old squares.

We will walk along one of the most famous and expensive high streets in the world - Bahnhofstrasse and have a cup of hot chocolate in a historical café.

Walking tour of Zurich "The insider's view"

Lucerne, less than a one-hour-drive from Zurich, is rightly called the heart of Switzerland.
Geographically it's in the middle of the country, historically it's one of the first cantons (Swiss federal unit) that formed Switzerland and touristically - quintessentially Swiss - a beautiful mountain lake surrounded by the Alps, houses from the 13th century, lavish Catholic churches, and restaurants offering a wide variety of typical Swiss food.

You'll see the famous water tower and learn about its history, the lion monument dedicated to the bravery of the Swiss Guards, and opulently decorated historic churches.
From Lucerne we can go to the mount of Pilatus, Titlis, Stanserhorn or Stoos.

This tour is one of my favorites, because it strikes the perfect balance between the natural beauty of Swiss landscapes and the historic castles and towns.
I've been providing it for more than 10 years and still have never seen a disappointed tourist!
