Enchanted to meet you! My name is Manuel, but please call me Manny. I am a Mexican-Canadian, tri-cultural, tri-lingual true North American. I grew up in Mexico, studied in the USA, and made my professional career in Canada; but above all, I am a proud Vallartan by birth. I studied in the Mexican Air Force as a fighter pilot, earned my Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Tampa University, and my MBA from the University of Barcelona in Spain. Today I live in Mexico in the winter, and in Canada in the summer. When growing up in Puerto Vallarta, I had the opportunity to work in the tourism industry, working as a guide in many different settings and environments, from horseback riding to trekking through the mountains of the Sierra Madre. I learned at an early age that being a guide was more than just showing you around, it was about connecting with people and helping them understand the significance of the culture, all while having endless laughs in between. After all, traveling should always be fun, and that is my focus! I have a unique perspective and out-of-the-box approach to working with people new to Vallarta. By understanding both your culture and mine, I have a way of delivering an experience from both points of view. After extensively travelling around the world, I have learned to appreciate my distinct and globally cherished culture more than ever before, and I cannot wait to share it with you. I extend an invitation to you and your family to join me in an adventure of discovery and wonder, through a unique perspective.
