Hello everyone, my name is Alessandra and I am a professional and authorized tour guide of Campania Region.

I was born and live in Naples, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy.

I've always been very keen of art and history and that is why I studied archaeology at the university both in Naples and Rome. After graduating and obtaining a postgraduate degree, in 2012 I decided to get the tourist guide license also to show how my land is wonderful and full of art masterpieces and interesting sites.

Moved by a great passion for my job, I like to organize guided tours to introduce all lovers of art and history the most enchanting places of my region (for example Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum), according to their personal preferences and needs.

I organize also food tours, in particular in Naples: local cuisine is an important part of our culture.

The tour is a time travel because the city was covered and preserved by the volcanic material and for this reason today it is possible to see how it was organized when it was ruined.

During the tour, I will show the best parts of the old city walking along the streets like the inhabitants of Pompeii.
I will show how wealthy people lived visiting some beautiful houses, the so-called "Domus", full of wonderful decorations made by frescos and mosaics. Then you will see the amphitheater and the two theatres where they had fun and spent their free time.

I will display some typical shops and the "Thermpolium", the Roman "fast food" where they had lunch, and the Thermal bath, which was an important place for their social life.

Finally, you will see the Forum, the main square of the city, where the most important public buildings are located, for example the temples.
