Hello, I am Makis! I was born and grow up in Santorini and I offer private tours. I am an experienced local guide who provide private tours for many years on Santorini. I love this island and I see as my obligation to give to the travelers the local eyeside about traditions. It was always my passion meeting people from all over the world and sharing my knowledge for my island's history since I was a kid. I want to show you hidden places and narrate stories of my grand father, about old Santorini's habbits and traditions. I also study as an architect in Athens university, that make me more perfectionist. I am an passionate - professional and my willing is to show you as much as I can of my island, making your tour really memorable. This was our first trip to Santorini and Makis gave us a good snapshot of the island and was helpful in suggesting places to visit that were not as crowded as the areas most visitors congregated at. We visited Megalochori, the Red Beach, a cave house, as well as the Akrotiri of Thera and the Santo Vineyard which had some nice wines and amazing views. As a local he gave us...

Loakeim did a great job showing us around Santorini including some hidden gems. Our son wanted to stop at a beach so he took us to a beach club for a bit at the end of our tour where we had the best Santorini salad! He tailored the trip to our needs as the day went along.

Loakeim was a great tour guide for the area of Santorini. He stopped for many beautiful picture opportunities - and was always open to take the pictures for us. He was very personable and discussed whatever subjects we had questions about. We especially loved the Art Space winery. The wine was delicious. His suggestion for lunch was the best!
