Santorini was easily one of our favorite destinations of the entire trip, and our guide, Aphrodite, made the experience unforgettable. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful day. One of the highlights was that she knew exactly where to take us in Oia for the perfect picture. Thanks to her expertise, we captured some of the most beautiful photos of our vacation, with the iconic whitewashed buildings, blue domes, and stunning views of the Aegean Sea. We also loved our stop in Firostefani, where we were able to admire the famous Blue Dome Church with the breathtaking backdrop of the sea and volcanic caldera. Every stop seemed more beautiful than the last. Another fascinating part of the tour was visiting the archaeological site of Akrotiri. Known as the "Pompeii of the Aegean, Walking through the site and seeing the remarkably preserved streets, buildings, and artifacts gave us an incredible glimpse into life in the ancient world. From the island's highest point, we were able to take in breathtaking scenery that stretched across the entire island and surrounding sea. Overall, this was an outstanding tour and one of the highlights of our vacation. Aphrodite's knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail made every stop special. She shared valuable information before each attraction, helping us appreciate the history, culture, and beauty of Santorini on a deeper level. Aphrodite did an excellent job showing us around Santoríni. We saw all the Instagram spots without the lines, were driven in a very comfortable & air conditioned minivan and got some extra time at black sand beach. She even took the time to teach us some Greek words. Yia mas Aphrodite! 🇬🇷

Fantastic tour with Aphrodite, great communication planning the tour ahead of time. Aphrodite entertained us with her great story telling and knowledge of the island. Party of (4) moved from village to village with a stop at Santos Winery. Highly recommend, best way to see Santorini.

Excellent day in Santorini. There were four of us and we had a great day with Aphrodite. Very knowledgeable with the history of the island along with an amazing sense of humor which made the day even that much more enjoyable. A must visit to Santos winery with great wine, snacks and view. It was a tour but so much more and a lot of fun. Our best tour of the cruise. Thank you.

Yassas, My wife and I had very little time to spend in Santorini so I felt by hiring a local tour guide we would best learn the history, culture and customs of this beautiful island. Also, because I love to watch Rick Steves on PBS back home I was able to find the link of Tours by Locals on his website. Our guide, Aphrodite, drove us from village to village, she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and a superb driver. She had a planned itinerary, but was also flexible to what we wanted to see or experience, such as the famous village of Oia. Aphrodite made us feel comfortable and safe as we walked to the most picturesque views of Santorini and because of her experience, she was able to get us in and out of crowded places and take beautiful photos of my wife and I. Aphrodite made our 35 year anniversary celebration so special. Thank you for the memories Aphrodite, you are special to us.
