Half day Santorini Sightseeing shore excursion Tour

Loakeim did a great job showing us around Santorini including some hidden gems. Our son wanted to stop at a beach so he took us to a beach club for a bit at the end of our tour where we had the best Santorini salad! He tailored the trip to our needs as the day went along.

Our private tour in Santorini with Ioakeim (Makis) was wonderful. He was very responsive, easy to work with, and extremely willing to customize the tour to our personal preferences. Given our interest in landscape photography and Greek / Mediterranean cuisine, Makis took us to all the best scenic spots around the island for photos and shared both the history and current facts about Santorini in an interesting and engaging way. We also visited the Santo Winery (where we tasted Vinsanto) and had a delicious late lunch at Forty One 41, a beachfront restaurant. Makis’ family has lived in Santorini for six generations so his perspectives were authentic and unique, and he is well known throughout the island. We highly recommend visiting Santorini and touring with Makis!

🌟 Unforgettable Private Tour of Santorini with Loakeim 🌟 Our day in Santorini was absolutely magical thanks to our incredible guide, Ioakeim. We arrived in Oia by water taxi and met him there—he greeted us with a warm smile and a luxurious, air-conditioned Mercedes minivan. We explored the postcard-perfect streets of Oia, took stunning photos with the blue-domed churches, and enjoyed lunch with breathtaking caldera views. From there, he took us to a peaceful black sand beach where we could relax and swim away from the crowds. Every stop was thoughtfully timed and tailored to us. Loakeim was friendly, knowledgeable, and so accommodating. His love for the island truly showed, and he made everything feel effortless. He got us back to the cruise ship area with plenty of time. ⭐ A highlight of our trip—don’t miss this tour!

Ioakeim was the perfect guide for our group of 8. He is an excellent and safe driver and his vehicle transported us comfortably. He was able to maneuver our group of 8 to vantage points with little or no tourists and took beautiful group photos for us. He is easy to get along with and will accommodate any requests. As we drove from place to place, Ioakeim shared with us insight into the changes to his island and gave us a new perspective of over-tourism. In spite of the changes, you would be hard pressed to find a guide as engaging and profession as Ioakeim.

Loakeim was totally amazing. One of the best tours we have had. He is very passionate about his island’s history and its people. We really enjoyed everywhere he took us and his personal stories. We will return to Santorini and Loakeim.
