5-Hour Private Santorini Tailor-Made Tour: Choice of the guest!

This tour was a perfect way to get all the highlights and visit the beautiful picturesque sights. Our tour guide Michael was very punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He was very passionate about the culture and history of the island and made the tour very enjoyable and engaging. Highly recommend!

My dad and I loved our fully customized tour with Michael during a July cruise to Greece! The day went exactly how I hoped and as we planned ahead of time! We got off our boat the first tender and went straight to the cable car (pre-purchased our tickets to save line time). Michael met us at the top, and whisked us away to Oia before the crowds arrived. It was magical. He knew all the best view (and photo) spots, and had strategies to get us past the small starting to form lines to take us to private viewing spots without a wait. By the time the tour buses were all unloading (probably 75 of them!!), we were done with Oia, and ready to get in the very comfortable (and air conditioned!!) van to go to the next spot. We swung by Amoudi Bay, then on to Pyrgos village where he brought us in the 'local way' (no tourists, so pretty!), then Megalachori to see an original cave house (we were the only people there!), had a wonderful coffee break at a local bakery, then the archaeological site which we went in on our own while he waited to pick us up after. We ended our tour with lunch at a black sand beach before he brought us back to Fira to take the cable car back to our boat. It was a jam packed day, and we really felt like we got to make the most of Santorini and experience the magic avoid the crushing crowds as much as possible with multiple ships in port. We also really appreciated the AC car and water. We were so happy we decided to do Santorini this way and chose Michael to do it with! Oh one more thing - we talked to several people on our boat who did the boat group shore excursion. What we heard - "Santorini is overrated," "it was wayyyyyyyyyy too crowded and miserable," and "all I did was stand in line to take pictures." We had SUCH an opposite experience to them because of Michael!! We loved every minute of Santorini because he made our day special, and we felt like we really go to experience what makes the island special because we got everywhere before all the hoards of people! (Seriously, get your first tender of the boat if you're on a cruise, and do EVERYTHING as early as possible!!) It was one of our biggest highlights of 12 days in Greece. Thanks Michael!

This is one of the best tours we've ever had! Michael was amazing. He completely tailored the tour to our needs and treated us like family. Everyone knows him, loves him, and respects him. His knowledge of Santorini is astounding and it was fascinating to hear the history of Santorini. When we said we were hungry he even took us to one of the beautiful local restaurants that he frequents. Everyone there knew him and treated us like gold. It's a place you probably wouldn't see on a cruise excursion. He stayed with us significantly longer than we initially scheduled and literally took us from top to bottom of Santorini and we saw everything. Also there was no waiting in line for anything. He knew exactly how to get us to each beautiful spot and photo op without waiting in line. But again the best thing was his making us feel so at home and like we belonged in santorini. We highly highly recommend his tours!

Santorini was the best day of our trip because of Michael. He took us all around the island so we saw beyond the instagram famous places. We did see the blue domes and famous sites but also learned so much about the island. I will recommend Michael to everyone that I know that travels to Greece.
