I am what you call a citizen of the world. I was born in North Africa, but I have French and Italian origins. My family moved to the south of France passing through Italy. I was raised in the south of France, and spent time in London. Love brought me to Canada, specifically to Montreal, and I stayed here for good. It has been home for almost fifty years, and I still love my city. After traveling around the world, I decided to earn a living doing what I love! I've been a Tour Director ( TD) since 1984 and have been guiding ever since. Tourism became my passion; I've been a representative for the Caribbean and have travelled also in South America. I would be happy to give you a customized tour of the Laurentians, the Appalaches, Quebec city, Ottawa, or right here in Montreal. I'm looking forward to welcoming you here. Au plaisir. Robert is an energetic and entertaining tour guide. As a long-time resident of Montreal, he knows it very well. He was gracious and accommodating, stopping for lunch at my request. He gave me a real feel for the city, not just the tourist sites. I thoroughly enjoyed my half-day tour. This is my 3rd time with Tours by Locals - I highly recommend this organization!

Robert is a warm and friendly guide who tries hard to give you the highlights and unique sites of Montreal in a manner consistent with your desires, needs, and mobility. Very informative and very attentive to your interests. He picked us up at our hotel and we explored the "new" Montreal before walking to the Old City. So much to see in Montreal.
