I move to Montreal in the nineties to study here. . . and never leave it since. Love at first sight ! Montreal has so much to offer and that is what I like to show to visitors here. The way I travel is the same way i'm touring you around. Taking the time to see the place you're in. Not make you feel on a rush. Observing, learning, enjoying the moment and leave you with nice memories that will last. I am highly flexible depending of your field of interest, how long you are staying, what you've seen so far, etc. And because Montreal is always moving and changing, you will enjoy your time with me even more if you come with the same flexibility in mind. For the same reason, i'll be happy to customized one of my tour if you want or have to. Don't hesitate to write and ask. I believe I am environmentally conscious and it can taint my choices for your visit here too. I like to buy local and avoid single use dishes restaurants. I also use public transportation, eco-friendly vehicule and hybrid or electric car for my tour. All that without being pushy about it: don't worry. I can't wait to tour you around and make you love Montreal as much as I do. The perfect tour for your 1st day in Montreal
Overview of your Montreal tour
If you have only one day to see Montreal or you are here for few days and want to get a great overview to discover it more by yourself after, this long tour will allow us to see the highlights of the city, understand it, see multiple point of view and differents areas to know better Montreal and its many neighborhood and quarters. The tour is long enough so we can really take our time to explore and not feel rushy. I also like to adapt the tours depending of your field of interests. Come with an open mind and be ready to enjoy Montreal as much as I am. And leave with the impression that you've visited the city with a knowledgeable friend more than a guide. We will do a lunch stop along the way, but not too long to make the most of our time together. Could be in a nice cafe, stop for a famous Montreal Smoked Meat or grab bites in a public market and eat those in a park. It is also possible to customize this tour in lenght, pick up place, number of person, places to see, etc. Don't hesitate to ask.

This was our second tour with Michel. So glad we decided to spend the day with him. He rented a car large enough to accommodate us and our luggage. He went the extra mile to "cover" our luggage to ensure it was safe when we parked and walked around. BRAVO At the end of the tour he dropped us off at the airport which was a game changer. The tour took us all over Montreal. He showed us unique aspects of the city. Loved that he stopped and got us fresh "Montreal" bagels. Warm and yummy. The farmers market was amazing and the lunch at the crepe venue was delicious. Fun to try a local spot. Again, we appreciated Michel's attention to details, the history of the area and he made sure we had a good time.

Michel was a terrific guide, very personable and knowledgeable. Weeks before, we had agreed upon a general outline of activities to include in our tour. He worked with us to find activities that were appropriate for our reduced mobility needs. We really appreciated Michel’s willingness and flexibility to pivot and change the activities on short notice. We had less energy after our cruise and needed a slower and less strenuous schedule.
