Historic and visual visit of downtown Montreal, the former residential area for the English and Scottish bourgeoisie settled down in the middle of the 19th century, Sainte-Catherine Street (the backbone of Montreal), the Cathedrals Marie-Reine-du-Monde and Christ Church, Sherbrooke Street, the Museum of Fine Arts and art galleries area, the heart of Golden Square Mile, its squares and urban parks, its underground city which is the most important in the world. Visits of some downtown subway stations, where every station is built from an artistic point of view. Old Montreal West Side which, since the creation of the City of Multimedia about two decades ago, became a place of high gastronomy and offers the biggest concentration of boutique hotels in Montreal. The alley of the Fortifications, the World Trade Center Montreal, Saint-Jacques Street, which is the ancient Canadian "Wall Street", the Place d'Armes and the Jacques-Cartier Place.

We visited areas which we would not have thought to cover on our own and experienced the underground city without getting lost! What a great way to spend the afternoon! Pierre Karl kept us moving and tailored the tour to the needs and interests of our family. We never would have seen this much of the city, and it was a great overview to guide the remainder of our trip. We got history, more recent history, anecdote, and great recommendations for other places to visit and dining and shopping in multiple neighborhoods.
