Guide #16801
I was born in Montreal in the district Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. Globetrotter, very young I travelled across the world: Europe, North Africa, Latin America, the United States and Canada. Extended stays in the cities of Paris, Los Angeles and Toronto. Traveler, student and practising a thousand and one jobs. Studies in Dramatic Art at the Academy of Dramatic Art of Montreal, self-taught painter, and formation as a tourist guide at the Quebec Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHQ), my experiences and my academic studies give me the essential tools to understand and tell about the Montreal and Quebec life of yesterday and today. Curious, I keep posted about the avant-garde Montrealer in the arts, the culture and the social movements. Very good historic knowledge of Montreal, Quebec and Canada, with more than 30 years of experience as Tour Leader and Guide in North America and, since 2002, Tour Guide of the City of Montreal with license and permit. Working with an international clientele, of different cultures and religions as well as with the LGBTQI+ community, I know how to adapt myself to several situations to give you unforgettable visits of my country. Licensed Montreal City Tour Guide. Certified ITHQ (Tourism and Hotel Management) as a Montreal Tourist Guide in 2001/2002. Member of APGT (Professional Association of Tourist Guides of Montreal). Quebec Driving licence. First Aid Training - First Aid/AP1.5H/Basic Life Support AED (C) 8 H . Tour Leader and Tour Guide in Canada since 1992. Vaccinated against Covid 19.

Pierre showed a lot of interesting villages which I appreciated. This is a tour you should check out if you're visiting Montreal and Pierre is the guy to go with.
Pierre is a great tour guide. He showed me a lot of lakes on this tour which was really awesome. If ever in Montreal and you want to see outside of Montreal. Pierre is the man!
It was a wonderful relaxed experience with a good knowledge base of the history of the city.

July 2026Katheen, and thank you all three for your comments. It was a pleasure to be your guide in Montreal.
Pierre is insightful and enjoyable to be with. We spent a day with him at the outset of our time in Montreal which helped us to organize the rest of our visit and decide what neighborhoods and attractions to return to and explore in greater depth. I would highly recommend Pierre as a tour guide. Matt H.

July 2026Thank you both for your comment. I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed your 7-hour tour of Montreal—which we did mostly on foot—and that you had all the energy and enthusiasm you needed. It was a pleasure for me.
