I grew up in this vibrant city taking everything that I had here for granted. Only after having made big travels as well as short trips through many countries, I started to realize what a great place my home-town is.
Zurich has so much to offer. There is the lake, the river, the charming old town with its historic sites and the churches, but also with a swinging nightlife for the fun-loving people. There is the quarter around the prime tower that only recently started to become a new important meeting place. But Zurich is also green. There are many parks, a botanical garden, a big zoo and lots of forests and ravines where you can experience the beauty of nature in short or long walks without even leaving the city. On a train ride of less then 30 minutes you reach the mountain we call Uetliberg where you can enjoy forest walks and view-points overlooking the city. During the summer months it is also great to stroll at the shore of the lake where lots of musicians and travelling artists compete to catch your attention. And of course you can make a boat tour on the lake.
Having lived here as a child, a youth, adult and later on as the mother of children, now young adults I got to know lots of different views of Zurich. There are lots of different facets I can show and stories I can tell you about my city.
Let me know what your interests are - if you like to see the main highlights or rather the hidden places, or both, if you are interested in old times or nowadays politics, art, culture. . . and how much time you want to spend. I am eager to compose the tour that fits you best.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

We had a group of 5 visiting Zurich for the first time. We were all very pleased with the tour! Veronique tailored the trip to our groups request with ease. I would highly recommend her for your group tour needs.
I don't drive. Why? The best way to discover Zurich is on foot, by tram or by boat.
