The champagne region is not too far away from Paris. It's a 1. 5-hour drive on the motor road but the sensation that you feel getting into the Marne valley is very chill and laidback compared to the busy and hectic city of Paris. This tour combines a peaceful ride through the vineyards, visits to cellars, tastings, and discovery of the "méthode champaignoise" or traditional method of making wine. We have several options for a big cellar where you can choose one from any of the big cellars which I will schedule in advance. In addition, being myself a Champagne lover, I can show you the producers and dealers that I personally choose. Or, if you have a special brand, that you would like to know about I can schedule a visit or a tasting if possible (note that not all the brands and producers receive guests). We'll also visit the cathedral of Reims, the avenue of champagne in Epernay and Hautvillers village. NOTE: Please wear comfortable shoes and attire as we need to walk through the vineyard
Gustavo was very knowledgeable about the Champagne region, as well as French history, completing engaging us in conversation to the Riems area for our Champagne tour. After the first house and a lovely lunch, we had to cut our trip short to head back to Paris. Gustavo was very accommodating as our planned day changed. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with him!

Gustavo Z, a charming knowledgeable guide. He arrived promptly in a well maintained clean comfortable vehicle. Our full day tour was from Paris to the Champagne Region. Gustavo very accommodating for changes to the itinerary, as I was running the Marathon de Paris, he was able to drive the course so I could familiarise myself with landmarks along the way.His suggestion of touring smaller growers as well as the bigger Champagne growers is a great idea. We loved our day with Gustavo, touring the Champagne Region. He made the day so much fun with his sense of humor and knowledge, plus, he gave us great suggestions for Paris restaurants and hot spots. He was prompt and picked us up in his spacious and comfy car. Suggestion: Make sure that you take the time to review the proposed itinerary, and if you want to make changes, make sure you let him know in advance. He will customize the day to meet your needs. Wear sneakers and bring your appetite!
Would recommend this tour! Gustavo was very informative. He shared information about local places and information about our destination. He was very knowledgeable about champagne country. Our favorite part was to learn champagne history this for sure makes you appreciate champagne in a very different way. Plus the scenery it's breath taking. I would for sure recommend this tour to everyone all 5 of us were super happy about doing this tour with Gustavo.

Suggestions include Moet & Chandon, Tattinger, HG Mumm, Veuve Clicquot, Mercier, Veuve Pommery. - Small producer.
