Good morning Viet Nam !!!!! My name is Hien. I am a freelancer in Sai Gon and I am original from the Mekong Delta. To pursue my dream becoming a tour guide I have studied language major and get the international license in tourism. I also love to travel and I do understand the meaning of guiding in tourism. I learned a lot from the questions guests were asking, and I normally put these in my tours (interesting facts, real stories, point of view. . . ) I strongly believe that tours related to the Vietnam War are not about killings, winners or losers. It's history, and we are here to learn from the past. I also love to share about the culture and lifestyle of my hometown throughout my experience I was grown up in the Mekong Delta. "When you are in Vietnam do as VietNamese do" I would love to explain to you What? Why ? and How ? to do as we do!!! . After the tour, you will have a lot of wonderful things to "put" in your pockets and bring back home!!! We had a fantastic day touring the Mekong Delta area. Hiên is a great guide who kept us off the regular tourist path and gave us a unique experience. He also helped us make other arrangements during our stay in Vietnam. Highly recommend this tour and guide.
Hien gave us an amazing two days in Saigon and the Mekong Delta. He is professional, personable and goes far beyond what a regular guide might do. He called workshops, stores and every venue we could want. If there were more than 5 star ratings, he would get it! We were a group of 8 and all felt the same. Also, his explanation of cultures, histories and locations were superb!!!!! Simply put, he is thee BEST!
What an amazing day! Our ship was late arriving in port and the traffic was crazy thanks in part to a downpour but our guide was patient, flexible, and super informative. People from our ship who stayed in Ho Chi Minh City were all jealous when they heard about our adventures in the Delta. We had an amazing lunch, several fabulous boat rides, and peeked into a whole other world. It was a long day but worth every minute of it!
We enjoyed our tour with Hein. It was nice to be able to get out of the city for a day and see the river and life on the river. Hein was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He got us back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. I would recommend Hein for any of your Ho Chi Minh area tours.
Hien was a great guide. We were a bit concerned about driving so far from the cruise ship port, but the sights along the way were incredible. The car was comfortable and Hien provided a lot of useful information about Vietnam. We were in awe with how the people live in Ho Chi Minh City and along the Mekong Delta. The pace of our private tours was perfect. Hien showed us small markets and life in a small village on the river. The bike ride on the small island was an easy pace and a great way to spend time.
Hien outdid himself for our 2- day tour and was amazing. Warm, engaging, and caring to make each day perfect. He customized a tour of the CuChi Tunnels and a day on the Mekong Delta. As a river patrol Vietnam vet, my husband appreciated his efforts to make it special and couldn't have been a more spectacular day going up river plus enjoying local villages along the way. Hien is a super guide who will also sing karaoke upon request! We said hello as strangers but ended saying goodbye as family.
Please take a short walk around 10 minutes or use the free shuttle bus to the gate terminal and you will see the welcome sign with your name. Our drive will be 1 hour 30 minutes to the boat then we will. >Cross Tien River by motorboat on the upper part of the Mekong River to see the fishing market and the floating fish farm >Cruise along small creeks through Mekong River >Visit orchards and bee farms to taste natural honey. >Go for a walk around the fruit garden and taste the seasonal fruits as you enjoy a traditional South Vietnamese musical performance. >Experience the rowing boat trip through small canals. >Learn how to make coconut candy by the local way. >Take a motor- cart around the village shaded by coconut trees as you pass immense green rice fields and admire the beautiful scenery >Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch in a restaurant located in a local home. Then back to car and return to your cruise. This tour will be best for the cruise which is docked in Hiep Phuoc and Nha Rong Port.
