Overview of your Ho Chi Minh City tour
Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels on a personally guided 10-hour tour. Located 70 kilometers northwest of the Saigon city center, the Cu Chi Tunnels network was built during the French time and extended over an area of 250 kilometers during the Vietnam War. Like stepping through history, you will view a re-creation of life in and around the tunnels. Hidden tunnel entrances, food preparation and through ingenuity making shoes from tyres, and ammunition reclamation. Learn about smokeless cooking or the use of long bamboo poles to hide smoke amongst the early morning mist.
Your Ho Chi Minh City tour itinerary
At 8:00 am, the car and I will pick you up at the port with your sign board of name and then transfer to Cu chi tunnels. In Cu chi tunnels, you will: • Discover the incredibly secret network of Cu Chi Tunnels and experience the narrow tunnels which are totally made by hand during the wartime. • Gain more knowledge of Vietnam history, tradition, and culture as well. • Go down to the first level of the real tunnels back then. • Taste some "local hamburgers" cooked by a special kitchen. • Experience to shoot the AK47 or MK16 riffles in a well supervised area (**optional with surcharge**) Have lunch on the way back.
