"Xin Chào!" I am Hung from Vietnam. I was born in Mekong River Region and grew up in Dalat City & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). I am proud of my hometowns of course. First, Mekong River and Delta Region. Such a super green land! Here, we have many kind of tropical fruits inside many gardens, farms, cajuput forests. . . Beside the gardens/farms, we have an amazing river with lots of green narrow water canals. Yep, it is the best place for sampan rowing activities. Second, Dalat is the cool weather round year with the waterfalls, green valleys, flowers farms, coffee and tea farms. . . Best place for relaxing! Last but not least, Ho Chi Minh City - formerly called "Saigon" is a must stop in the South Vietnam. This young and dynamic city has two main areas as the colonial building area and the modern town. About myself, l spent two years studying at the college in Saigon, and another two years abroad. I love travelling so far and visited many countries around the world. I love to learn more about the lifestyle, history, landscape, food and drink. . . then I love to be A LOCAL TOUR GUIDE, as it allows more chance to communicate with international travellers, know more about the world and share my country with all. We enjoyed our tour with Hung. He provided additional information of the Vietnamese language and cultural on our long drive to Ho Chi Minh City from the port. He had a great location for lunch - it felt "off the beaten path" which we enjoyed. We definitely recommend a tour with Hung!

Hung is a fabulous guide. He is very knowledgeable and isn't too serious. We were a party of 5 including 2 teenagers. Hung met us at the cruise ship port with a driver and van which meant he could concentrate on talking with us and educating us about the history and life in Saigon. We visited the many sites including the war museum, markets, post office and Bitexco Tower. Lunch was a set menu in a lovely restaurant, there was far too much food for us but was really delicious. We thoroughly recommend Hung

On Saturday we did a private tour with guide Hung , ToursByLocals to Ho Chi Minh City. It was a full day and we were able to get a flavor of Saigon, a place that is spiritual, energetic and full of people on scooters. It was eye-opening! Our guide wanted to make sure we learned some of the history and was extremely knowledgeable. He was also very accommodating. If you were wanting to see this city then we would recommend Hung as he is personable and aims to please.
