Saigon's Highlights - Express Walking Tour

On this walking tour, you'll see we'll Saigon's most beloved highlights as we explore the busy city centre, as well as areas with old colonial architecture, and we could even visit some central markets where you'd be able to buy interesting items to take back home! We will walk & wander through government buildings such as the City Hall, a symbol of Saigon for over a hundred years, and the Central Post Office, a 20th century building with a European railway station design. We'll also pass by the The Independence Palace, where the South Vietnam government lived back in the war time, and take a photo of its facade.   Not to mention, we'll take in the beauty of the French construction of Saigon's Notre-Dame Cathedral, from over a hundred and thirty years ago. Come on this MUST-SEE tour for all first time visitors accompanied by a licensed guide like myself!

-The tour will start with a pick-up from your hotel in the city centre, or from an arranged meeting spot: Saigon Opera House. We'll proceed to explore inside the Opera House, and then head out towards the next landmarks we'll cover. -We'll then approach some city areas with French colonial buildings, passing by the City Hall. -Next, we'll reach Saigon's Notre Dame Cathedral. -Later, we'll go around some old French houses, villas, schools and old French styled hotels en routé to our following activity. -After covering those places, you could opt to visit a traditional Vietnamese water puppet Theater to enjoy a lovely puppet show which would last for around 45 minutes. -Next, we could taste a cup of café / tea together as the locals do. -At last, we'd return to your hotel for the end of the tour.
