Private Classic Mekong Delta and Biking Tour in Cai Be

Mekong Delta is truly a paradise! Located west of Ho Chi Minh City, it spans across a large area dotted with many towns and villages. The delta offers plenty of orchards, fields, plantations and swamplands. It is recognizable as Vietnam's major rice bowl and producer of many fruits and vegetables. One will be enchanted with the numerous colors from the flora and fauna of the region. Life is less stressful here. Modern development in the city has been replaced by floating markets and boats have become the main means of transportation in the delta. We will visit the town of Cai Be, about two hours away from the city. This charming town is famous for local markets with produce of all kinds in different times of the year. There are many small canals around Cai Be which invite us to a simple sampan ride amidst the lush greenery on both sides of the banks. Away from the city, we are entering the lives of the local people; experiencing firsthand how people earn their living. It will be an enjoyable trip

* Meet and greet at the agreed location. If you need airport pick up, please let me know in advance. * Most of time is cruising by a private local boat on Mekong river to experience local life. * Drive to next stop where we will learn how to make rice paper and pop rice with the locals. * Have a relaxed sampan boat ride along the picturesque canal. * Venture around Tan Phong island by bike (5km). We will learn more information about local farmers' life as well as their fruit farms. * Have a set menu lunch at local family. Then we will have an opportunity to chat with them. * Drive our boat back to the parking before heading back to your hotel. The tour is ended. Note: The tour will last around 8-9 hours. There is approximately 2 hours drive from Ho Chi Minh city to Cai Be so we might be stopped for a short rest or coffee break along the way.
