We will travel to two provinces of Mekong Delta (Tien Giang and Ben Tre) , avoid many tourist crowds and visit more authentic places as follows: Mekong river, the village paths, fruit gardens, some local traditional industries, etc. The Mekong river acts as the natural border between Tien Giang province and Ben Tre province. *Note: If you are arriving at Hiep Phuoc port, please click "MESSAGE KHOA Đ". Our family of 4 had a fantastic day with Khoa! You could tell that he loved sharing his country with us! He gave us a lot of history and information and took us to non-touristy areas. We got to meet several locals and they were so friendly. My son has a lot of food allergies and Khoa made sure to order food at the restaurant that he could eat. We really enjoyed our day with Khoa!
Really very interesting tour of the Mekong Delta and authentic rural village life. Khoa is an enthusiastic guide who has a deep love of the countryside. Would recommend.
Khoa was excellent. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group had the information they needed and their questions answered. We toured several points of interest in the village and met a local family and enjoyed some tropical fruit from their orchard with them. Khoa arranged everything to be an authentic experience. We managed to canoe up the delta almost alone and enjoyed the peace & environment that is like nowhere else in the world. Our trip and experience was a far cry to the YouTube videos showing a traffic jamb of canoes going up and down the river. We ended the day with an authentic Vietnamese meal that Khoa had arranged to be prepared at a local Mekong Delta restaurant. Then drove back and had Vietnamese coffee in Ho Chi Minh City before he and his driver dropped us off at the airport. In short, the day was magical - thanks to Khoa.
We had a wonderful trip to the Mekong Delta with Khoa and I highly recommend his tour if you want to avoid the tourist crowds and understand how local people live in the area. Khoa is very knowledgeable about the region and he has worked hard to design a tour that introduces visitors to authentic life in the Delta. We especially enjoyed our visit to a local farming family who showed us around their orchards and explained their farming methods. It was also fun to take a canoe ride on a canal lined with Nipa Palms and taste the fruit that the boatwoman cut for us from the palm tree. Khoa is a fun and friendly guide, and also very flexible and willing to adjust the tour to meet any requests. At the last minute he took us to visit a floating fish farm, for a walk through a village, and a ride on a local ferry.
Khoa created very special and unique experiences for us including private boat rides, canoes and local family visits that exposed us to how unique the MeKong Delta. Most importantly, he kept us away from one the many tourist traps that fill that area now. We could not think of a better way to see the area. It was special. Thanks Khoa.

- I will meet you at your hotel lobby in Saigon or at Nha Rong port. *Notes : For travelers on the ships docking at Nha Rong port (2km from Saigon city center). I will meet you at the port gate with a sign bearing your name. The port gate is 5 to 10 minute walk from the ship, or, alternatively, you can use the shuttle bus to get to the port gate. - Then we will depart Saigon for Mekong Delta. - We will travel across the Mekong river by boat, and later go through the canal by canoe. - We will take a leisurely walk through the village, take in the many wonderful sights and enjoy the sense of being there. - We will travel around the village by a taxi locally known as 'Xe Lam' and stop at various places to learn about the traditional industries and the people's lives there. - Lunch ( À la carte or set menu) with local food options. - Other activities. - I can customize the tour to fit your preferences. I will take you to the authentic Vietnamese sights, not tourist traps. It is the real Mekong Delta experience!
