Overview of your Ho Chi Minh City tour
During the Vietnam War period , Cu Chi was well known for its tunnels. In joining this tour, you will learn much about the tunnels system, and the life of the Vietcong and their means of fighting the enemy. After leaving Cu Chi, we will visit Saigon which is considered to be the main tourist hub in Vietnam. A place which attracts most foreign visitors. The distance between Phu My port and Cu Chi tunnels( Ben Dinh) is about 115km ( 2.5 - 3 hours drive depending on traffic situation). The distance between Cu chi tunnels(Ben Dinh) and Saigon city center is about 45km ( about 1.5 hours). The distance between Saigon city center and Phu My port is about 70km (about 1.3 hours). **Note: This tour is for pick up and drop off at Phu My Port. I am here to assist you with any inquiries. Your Ho Chi Minh City tour itinerary
The driver and I will meet you at Phu My port gate with a sign bearing your name. The Phu My port gate is 8 to 15 minute walk from the ship, or, alternatively, you can use the shuttle bus to get to Phu My port gate. We will then take you to the Cu Chi tunnels. * Once there, I will give you a briefing about the Cu Chi tunnels by means of a map and a battlefield model. * We will take the forest path to see trapping devices, battle trenches, air vents, etc. . . * If you want to know how it feels, you can crawl into the tunnels yourself. * Back in Saigon, we will visit war museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Post office and the market. If you wish to have lunch, I can recommend you a local restaurant where you can dine on delicious Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. For me, the most important thing is your satisfaction. I am flexible about the itinerary to ensure you will get the best from your tour.
