Experience the authentic side of the vast tunnel network created by Viet Cong guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. Cu Chi tunnels are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district which are 70 kilometers North West of Ho Chi Minh City. They are part of a much larger network of tunnels of around 200Km long that is well known nationwide and worldwide. The Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War. The underground network provided meeting rooms, sleeping quarters, commanding rooms, hospitals, and other social rooms. Visit to the Cu Chi tunnels provides a better understanding of the prolonged resistance war of the Vietnamese people and also of the persistent and clever character of the Vietnamese nation. From 1988, two sections of the tunnels have been open for visitors.
Lee was an excellent guide. We enjoyed the tour so much! Lee gave us great insights of the Cu chi tunnel and war time history. He is very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. One word comes to mind to describe Lee: Fantastic. He is very passionate about his country, and I learned so much from him about Vietnam and the Cao Dai religion, as well as his daily life. He also took it upon himself to call his pharmacist wife to find out what medicine would settle my upset stomach. A great tour guide.

I will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels with 1. 5 hour of drive around 70 km northwest of the city. - Before entering the tunnels we will stop to discover rubber plantations or rice field. - Discover how the tunnels were built by fighters as a base from which the Viet Cong could operate. - We will visit a underground network dug-out which was being used during the Vietnam - USA war. There is little evidence to indicate the intense fighting, bombing and destruction that went on in Cuchi during the war. - Lunch will be served with a local style
