My Tho City is just 70km from South of Saigon. My Tho and Ben Tre are connected by Rach Mieu bridge. There are many short boat-trips to various islands, Ben Tre and floating markets in the surrounding areas. It also has overnight long boats to Can Tho, Chau Doc and Phnompenh. This popular destination is famous for taking a nice wooden boat and cruising on the river to visit a coconut factory/a chance on horse-drawn carriage/ enjoy some kind of tropical fruits/ the amazing hand rowing boat trip on the small canals/ strolling around the islet by bike to explore the cultural beauty of gardens in the Southern Villages. Come here to discover the best charms of Mekong Vietnam. Cu Chi Tunnels is just 75 km to the north west of Saigon. This most popular history site is known as an outdoor museum. Here, visitors can now crawl through some of the safer parts of the tunnels, try to fire an AK-47 rifle on a firing range and even eat typical foods that soldiers living in the tunnels would have eaten. Let's go!
I am giving Tony a 5 star rating. I thought he gave us great service as our tour guide. My family really enjoyed his humor. He has perfect English and great insight on the tours and History of Vietnam. I would recommend his service and would love to book another tour with him. Thank you Tony for a wonderful time.
Our group of 6 were picked up at our hotel. Anthony even brought me a coffee. We had a private 16 person van. Drove to Ha Long Bay with stops. Once we arrived at the port we were escorted to our private boat, given a wonderful lunch then onto the tour of the bay with some hikes up to the top of the peaks with great views. Went into the caves and had a small boat tour within the area. It was a long day and enjoyable. Anthony was wonderful and after a very full day dropped us back at our hotel.
Tony was a wonderful guide and very flexible.
Tour with Tony was excellent from booking through to follow up after the tour. He was very responsive replying with detailed emails and highly flexible arranging to add transportation to Can Tho for us after visiting the Chu Chi tunnels. In addition to a very informative well paced visit to the tunnels he added stops to the flower market, a Caodaist temple and a ferry trip over the Mekong. We highly recommend Tony to anyone seeking a highly informative & enjoyable tour of the Mekong Delta or Saigon areas
Tony was a great guide and put together a very nice tour Mekong Delta/Ben Tre tour. He was professional, friendly, fluent in English and the actual tour and day matched the advance description that he provided very well. His transportation van was clean and comfortable and his driver was also very good and safe.
Tony was a wonderful guide. It's a long day but doing both tours together. But Tony's knowledge and wit made the day extra special. The visit to the art factory and pagoda was a special bonus which we weren't expecting. I would definitely recommend Tony as a guide.
On this tour we will visit Cu Chi Tunnel - an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese soldiers during the struggle for independence. Stretching over 200km, this tunnel network -dug by hand- connected shelters, posts, hospitals and weapon bunkers…You can walk through the area and learn about the life of VC, face the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby-traps. Then the mini-van will drive around two hours to reach Mekong area. Then the trip will start by taking small boats and cruising on the river to visit a coconut factory to learn about the way how to make coconut candy here and taste some local products. Then you have a chance on horse-drawn carriage through the village and enjoy some tropical fruits. After that, the amazing rowing boat trip on the small canal is something you cannot miss. Lunch will be served in heart of the garden with a special Mekong River's style. One more islet in this trip will bring you to a small bee farm to enjoy honey tea and other local products.
