Located only 70 km South of Ho Chi Minh City, My Tho & Ben Tre offer authentic experiences when spending a full day exploring the local areas with an expert local tour guide. This tour will take you to two of the four islands: Unicorn & Phoenix, named after the four sacred animals: dragon, unicorn, tortoise, and phoenix. Cruise along the Mekong River to explore the daily life of people living on the evergreen island of coconuts in Ben Tre and taste some coconut candies with honey tea. - You will be picked up from the meeting point in Saigon: hotel/airport/cruise ship, then start 1. 5 1.5-hour private transfer to My Tho & Ben Tre. - Upon arrival at My Tho, embark on your private boat to cruise along the Tien River to Unicorn Island, and enjoy your leisurely walk along the island - Stop by a local gardener's home to taste some seasonal fruits, jasmine tea, and listen to 'Don Ca Tai Tu." - Walk along the fruit garden, sit down at the bee farm to taste some bee products: honey tea, natural bee pollen, and fresh royal jelly from the queen bees. - You will next cruise to Ben Tre, visit the local coconut candy factory, take a local rowing boat along the small canals, then take "xe loi" to the local restaurant for lunch. - Cruise back to your private transportation, then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
