Local Plantation, Cajun Restaurant and Swamp tour

I pick you up and we drive to bayou country just about an hour outside of New Orleans to where people still live the Cajun way of live on the bayous and swamps of Louisiana. Where we can see alligators, hold them in our hands and eat them off our plate at a local Cajun restaurant, tastes like chicken! :-) We go to a local family owned swamp tour on a pontoon boat where wildlife is plentiful with alligators, snapping turtles, nutria and birds galore with our resident waterfowl of egrets and herons and coastal migrants like the white pelicans and colonial nesters. I'm a birder! Bring your binoculars :) I am a LMNO Master Naturalist and will be happy to nerd out about all the different species and habitats with you! We tour a local Plantation that teaches us the true story of about life on the plantation for owners and slaves, we learn from true testimonials of what is was like to be enslaved and working the cane and cotton fields. And why God forbid you'd get sold down the Mississippi River.
