We met our guide at Armstrong Park by chance, and the experience couldn’t have started better. He helped us with directions, then offered to show us around the park — and within minutes we knew we were in great hands. Keynin is an enthusiastic tour guide with lots of fascinating stories handed down from his grandfather (who also gave tours to visiting musicians) and through his own research. We got a feel for a New Orleans that is not your usual touristy experience. He's also very knowledgeable about the history of NO music, being a musician himself. I recommend this tour for everyone who wants to go beyond ghosts and swamps!

Keynin was so knowledgable and showed and told us lots of interesting facts about New Orleans. He was very happy answering all sorts of questions. We all walked away understanding a lot more of the history of New Orleans and especially the French Quarter. We also learnt where Blues, rock and roll started fascinating.

His extensive familiarity with the area allowed him to advise our driver on the best routes to take in order to see all of the landmarks. To round out the day, we were able to go on a short tour on foot, which was a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
