I am a Grammy Nominated New Orleans Jazz Musician and Historian. I came to New Orleans in my teens to study Jazz and History at the University of New Orleans. My sense of humor and appreciation for New Orleans is what people love about me. I've traveled the world as a working Jazz Saxophonist, but no matter what I am steeped in the New Orleans Culture. My tours can be completely customized for you especially if you are a music fan. Whether your interests may be the food, art, music, or just the history while in the Big Easy, I look forward to introducing you to the Gumbo we call New Orleans. - City Of New Orleans Tour Guide License Permit - Grammy Nomination in 2026 for Regional Roots Category - Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Orleans in Music History - Tulane University MPS Graduate Student - Managing Partner of Big Easy Walking Tours

Get ready to Party! My 3 hour private tour will take you beyond Bourbon Street to the music clubs, and cocktail bars of Frenchmen Street, the live music capital of New Orleans, so take this tour your 1st night! This is a great way to include your kids in your nighttime activities Frenchmen Street has been featured in many films and shows such HBO's Treme, The Simpsons (Spotted Cat), and the hit movie Girl's Trip (The Maison). Drake also shot a large portion of his video for 'In My Feelings' on Frenchmen Street. This tour includes a specialty cocktail, shots for Adults and Pizza, Fountain Drinks for kids. At each venue, we will spend 20-40 minutes to listen and dance to live bands. In between clubs you will be given the history of New Orleans Jazz, and learn what events lead up to the creation of Frenchmen St. If you like glitter and eclectic art, we will visit the Frenchmen Street Art Market as well.
The tour begins at the Dragon's Den which is the across the street from the Old U. S Mint and outlines the general history of the city, focusing on New Orleans Jazz history and events that happened in or near the Old U. S Mint and the Marigny Neighborhood. From there we move to our first music venue, the B. M. C, where a Bartender will give you a demonstration of how Louisiana cocktails such as a "Esplanade Lemonade", "Sazerac" or "Pimm's Cup" are made. Next, We'll visit some of the best live music clubs in the world such as Snug Harbor, Favela Chic, The Spotted Cat, Maison, Cafe Negril, Club 30/90. Many of the venues have superb food menus so if you decide to grab a bite to eat you are welcome to. You will have the kind of undivided attention you just won't get to have on large group tours and will leave Frenchmen Street with a unique understanding of the New Orleans.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
