I do give you the option to choose: * Laura, a Creole Plantation, with 11 structures listed on the National Register. * Houmas House, restored to the antebellum era, reflecting the opulence and wealth this sugarcane farm boasted in the 1800s. * Destrehan Plantation, established in 1787 and remains the oldest documented plantation home in the lower Mississippi Valley. * Oak Alley Plantation, from its 28 Oaks to its open spaces, to its hidden nooks and crannies.
