Hello, my name is Jack Rigby (i still need to check my ancestry to see if Eleanor is a relation) and I live and work in the great city of Liverpool that you will be visiting. i'm sure you already know but Liverpool is a fantastic city in the North West of England that is steeped in rich history, from the legendary band "The Beatles", to the world famous Liverpool Football Club, to centuries old beautiful Architecture - Liverpool has so much to offer (i'm biased of course, but it's true). So that's where I come in! Visiting such a vast-diverse city is exciting and i'm sure you want to make the most of your time and see and experience all the best parts. I believe I am just the man for the job. I have 14 years experience guiding in and around the city. I worked for 9 years for Liverpool Football club (who are currently one of the best teams on the planet), taking fans from all around the world around our beautiful stadium Anfield and telling them about the history of the club and some great stories too. I have also worked on the LFC open top tour bus (for 4 years), which takes tourists from the beautiful water front of Liverpool's Albert Docks down to the stadium and back again. In this tour I not only talk about football but include a lot of info about Liverpool's great builidngs and maritime history. I am a guide who is organised and has structure, but also likes to be flexible, have fun and allow you the freedom to contribute and change things in the moment on the day. As ultimately this is your tour and your experience, so you getting the most out of it is paramount. And of course I am a local "scouser", (a scouser is a nickname for a person from Liverpool). Overview of your Liverpool tour
A great full day of exploring a beautiful part of Wales that has some fantastic views and photo opportunities, with plenty of history to add to it. Snowdonia national park has always been a favourite place of mine to hike and walk and offers a stunning selection of landscape to take in. We will visit both here and also the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed, along with the the walled town of Conwy which is home to the iconic 13th Century "Conwy Castle".
Your Liverpool tour itinerary
On this tour we will endeavour to take in as many beautiful sites of North Wales that we can. At any point if you would like to spend any longer or shorter time in an area that is no problem at all. Throughout the day we could stop for a nice lunch if you would like, possibly some nice fish and chips or a traditional country pub meal. The itinerary listed below is an overview of how the day will develop. - A drive to from Liverpool to North Wales (taking in the beautiful countryside) - A visit to Betws-y-Coed (picturesque village - there is time for some walking around and shopping if you would like). - A drive through Snowdonia national park (great photo opportunities). - Arrive at the beautiful town of Conwy (visit the beautiful Conwy Castle and soak up the history of this great fishing town). - Conwy Quay waterfront - Visit the smallest house in Britain - Swallow Falls (Fantastic natural waterfall) - Drive back to Liverpool
