Daphne was a fantastic tour guide. Professional, knowledgeable and a wonderful person. She patiently answered all of our many questions. Her tour was amazing. We would never have ventured to the areas outside the city on our own, nor had the experiences she provided us. Spending the day with Daphne was the highlight of our trip. We would definitely not hesitate to book her again.
I highly recommend this tour. Daphne has curated an excellent adventure outside of Taipei which will take you from fascinating seaside geologic formations to mountain villages where you can experience more of Taiwanese culture. In addition, Daphne is very friendly, knowledgeable, responsible and informative. This definitely is a fun tour and was the highlight of my trip to Taiwan.
Daphne drove us to 4 remote attractions: Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall and Pingxi. Her familiarity with the roads was thorough and her driving was excellent. She was also knowledgeable, informative and very good company. We had one of our best days with Daphne.
Excellent tour with Daphne T. as my guide. Definitely an area to see when staying in Taipei. Beautiful views and varied landscapes less than an hour away from the big city. Daphne was a great driver and guide and was very courteous which made for a very enjoyable time.
We had an amazing tour with Daphne, who was both professional and knowledgeable. When it unexpectedly rained during our adventure, she was well-prepared and kindly lent us umbrellas, showing the attention to detail. Her recommendations for food in Jiufen were exceptional, and we enjoyed every dish she suggested. Daphne's sweet nature truly made the tour special, as she even surprised us with thoughtful souvenirs. She even recommended what to do after we ended the tour, and dropped us off at the 101 building, allowing us to explore the city further. Overall, Daphne's attention to detail and kindness made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
Carmelo was our guide and he did an amazing job. He guided us through each location, provided insight and history about each spot, and answered all of our questions. He took numerous photos of as well. He spoke very good English and was very understandable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this tour.
On this tour, you will visit Jiufen Village, a hillside village prosperous in the 1940s that will bring you an old-time vibe with its atmospheric alleys; Yehliu Geopark, known for its unique coastal erosion features, will blow you mind away; Pingxi District, a former mining town that is known for the world-famous "Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival", where you will experience the iconic tradition of flying sky lantern and visit the "Little Niagara Falls" of Taiwan—Shifen Waterfall. The itinerary is flexible for any changes please let me know.
