Peining was great to communicate with from the get go. After several texts we amended the tour to have some time at one of the markets. It worked out very well. Peining is extremely passionate about the culture what made the exhibits so much more enjoyable. The city is so cool in its own right and strolling about while learning about the history was simply fantastic!
Peining is an excellent guide... and really knows her stuff, when it comes to the Naitonal Palace Museum. We selected her from all the other guides because her profile said she had been a docent at the museum--that was a good move on our part. She knows the exhibits, knows the building, and was able to guide us to see exactly what we wanted to see, despite the museum being crowded with other tourists. . Her explanations were thorough and nuanced, and we left with a much better understand of the artworks, their history, and importance.
Peining was a great guide for our family of four and really catered our tour to make it fun and engaging for our children. She was able to use both Chinese and English depending on the language abilities of those in our group. She came very prepared, had good energy and was also very easy to communicate with prior to our tour. Highly recommend!

The length of the tour depends on the time of visitors. Itinerary as follow: - Meeting point will be in the museum - Gallery overview (15min) - Jade gallery (40 min) - Bronze Gallery (40min) - Ceramics and Porcelain gallery (40 min) - Carving gallery (30-40 min) - Chinese and Painting (30-40min) The tour will be adjusted upon the time of visitors.
