Greetings from Taiwan! Born and raised in Taipei, Chris speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese, all at native level. He is a writer, journalist, researcher and tour guide with official English and Mandarin tour guiding certification issued by the Taiwanese government. He graduated from National Taiwan University with a BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures, followed by an MA in Digital Humanities at King’s College London. He’s passionate about liberal arts, architecture, fashion, cars and photography. Chris has been a private tour guide in Taiwan since 2016, and volunteers at National Taiwan Museum giving English walking tours on Taipei’s historical districts and heritage buildings for high-profile guests of the Presidential Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to international tourists.
