Travel to Taipei, what do you expect for a night market? One of the largest and popular night markets in Taipei is Shilin Night Market. It is an open market, walk inside push by crowd, feel like in a food paradise. Can you find anyplate to try? What is the specaities in the market? It is the mustvisit place when traveler to Taipei. As a citizen I went to the Night Market quit often, without guide I have no idea how to visit, just follow crowd to que and find for surprise. As a first visit or with time limit I will firmly suggest traveler to find a guide, this is a shortcut to find your way inside the shop maze.
Tour was good enough. I just wanted to walk through the market but wasn’t interested in eating or buying anything. Fighting jet lag on day of arrival and just wanted to keep moving and sense a night market. Her English is adequate. She did a good job of showing me the market and explaining the traditions and the places that were there. Didn’t help that we were out in the rain but she cleverly changed the plan and took me to a smaller more manageable market due to the rain.
