My hobbies: skiing in the winter, windsurfing and kitesurfing in summer. I really love music and dancing and so I often go to the opera, the ballet and various concerts. I've been doing Zumba for over 10 years and I've recently taken up kite surfing. It's exhausting, but it's a lot of fun! I also enjoy reading and spend a lot of time in the library studying ancient documents and works by historians. I'm married and have two adult sons. My best friend is my Maine coon cat, with whom I enjoying going for walks in the local wood. My job is my passion! I really enjoy welcoming tourists from all over the world. Overview of your Zurich tour
We will explore one of the richest cities on earth - Zurich! You will have the chance to get a bird’s eye view of the old town from a panoramic platform, admire one of the most renowned universities in the world, stroll along the main shopping street – Bahnhofstrasse, see the largest clock face in Europe on the Church of St. Peter, walk along the narrow streets of the medieval quarters, and take pictures on the embankment of Lake Zurich and the river Limmat. On the way to Basel, we will make a stop in the once flourishing medieval town of Rheinfelden. Get off the beaten track to this authentic town almost frozen in time! Here you will see the great Rhine before it became navigable. For those still thirsty for more, we can also explore Basel: stretch your legs with a walk through the historical center, try water from the Basilisk Fountain, marvel at the ancient cathedral and take a look inside. Your emotion-filled first day in Switzerland ends with you and your luggage being safely brought to your ship!
Your Zurich tour itinerary
I will pick you up straight from the airport or your hotel in Zurich with my new, comfortable and spacious panoramic car. First, we spend 2 hours exploring Zurich by car and on foot. Then we head to Rheinfelden, visit the town on foot, have lunch and then set off for Basel. Once parked in the city center, we will walk around the city of basilisks. We will also spend about 2 hours discovering Basel. After this magical day, I will take you to your ship in the port of Basel. The full guided tour lasts 7.5 hours. If you want a shorter experience, we can skip either Zurich or Basel. We can also visit Lucerne on the way instead of Zurich, Basel or Rheinfelden. Don’t hesitate to ask me for a customized tour! You can also visit the other city on the way back.
