Alpine Escape: A Day Trip from Lucerne to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Mürren
Overview of your Zurich tour
We’ll begin with a 2-hour journey on the Luzern-Interlaken Express. it will takes you straight into the heart of Switzerland, offering steep valley sides, impressive waterfalls, and breathtaking mountain vistas. Our first stop is Interlaken, a charming town nestled between two lakes. Here, we’ll explore the area and visit some interesting shops. We’ll also stop at the iconic Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel for coffee. After a stroll through Interlaken, we’ll take a train ride to Lauterbrunnen, where we’ll pause for lunch. Lauterbrunnen it’s home to the roaring Staubbach Falls, which plunge 300 meters into the valley. For lunch, we’ll enjoy a taste of fondue or other traditional Swiss dishes. We’ll continue our journey with a cable car and train ride to Mürren. This car-free mountain village is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. With its traditional chalets and serene atmosphere, Mürren offers a tranquil escape. From here, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the towering peaks. Back to Lucerne.
