Hello everyone, my name is Julia, and I would love to introduce you to the Switzerland I know and love. Switzerland for me is not just a travel destination — it is my everyday life. I live and work in the very heart of Zürich, surrounded by the rhythms, traditions, and quiet beauty of Swiss life, and create tailor-made journeys across Switzerland, offering private tours in Zürich, Lucerne, and Bern. My partner’s family comes from Bern and Zürich, and through these close local connections I have become deeply immersed in Swiss culture and community. My story began with music and theatre: I studied cello at a specialized music school and later graduated from the acting department of the Kyiv Theatre Institute, after which I worked in theatre. This background shaped the way I guide. I spent over ten years living and working in Venice. I started out in a travel agency, which gave me a deep understanding of how trips are organized, and later obtained my official guide license. I led tours in Venice and the Prosecco wine region, combining historical sites with fascinating stories. Now in Switzerland, I continue doing what I love and offer only the experiences that I genuinely enjoy myself. I’ll show you the beauty of Switzerland and its hidden gems. Let’s create your perfect journey together! I have all the requirements of the Swiss government to fulfil professionally my work. I am certificated travel guide of Venice and I have a guide license in the city of Chernihiv, Ukraine. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate professional car&driver. Please contact me even if I am unavailable! Switzerland with Julia.

Switzerland is a world leader in chocolate, despite its distance from cocoa-growing regions. We begin at a legendary café to learn about the Sprüngli family and their link to Lindt. Next, we visit a unique atelier at Münsterhof to try rare absinthe-flavored chocolate, a nod to Swiss history. Near St. Peter’s Church, we stop at a boutique by a Lucerne-based factory for seasonal handmade treats and Zurich’s finest hot chocolate. After a break for coffee and apple strudel in a historic café, we visit a colonial-style shop specializing in premium Swiss and international bean-to-bar selections. Every stop reveals a hidden gem and a unique story. We conclude our journey with a final tasting—a perfect sweet ending. Optional extensions: • Hands-on chocolate making at a small manufactory. • A scenic boat trip to the Lindt Home of Chocolate. Each chocolatier on this tour has its own story and specialty, and most remain little known beyond their city.
Even though Switzerland is far from the equatorial regions where cocoa trees grow — and despite having no colonies or access to the sea — the country has become one of the world’s leading chocolate producers. Our first sweet stop is the legendary Confiserie Sprüngli on Paradeplatz, where we step inside to choose the famous Luxemburgerli before continuing our walk. Next, we head to the charming small atelier at Münsterhof known for its distinctive character and unexpected flavours. We then reach St. Peter’s Church and pause at a boutique run by a Lucerne-based chocolate factory. Depending on the season, you can enjoy a cup of rich hot chocolate or a refreshing scoop of ice cream. Crossing to the opposite bank of the Limmat River, we discover a calmer side of the city. The walk concludes at the historic Café 1842 with tea or coffee and apple strudel (not included), followed by a chocolate tasting.
