History, food tasting and tapas in Granada

Hello! My name is Mirian and I am thrilled to be your guide in Granada and Malaga! I work as a tour guide since 2015 and it is the best job I I have ever had. Sharing and exchanging knowledge with different people while touring some of the most beautiful cities in Andalucia is such a pleasure. I like showing off our stunning heritage, helping travelers to understand why Granada and Malaga are so important, the historical context in which our monuments were built, . . . taking a dip into medieval History and traditions. Granada is a must when travelling to Spain for many reasons: the unique Islamic and Christian art combination, the UNESCO heritage sites, the zambra flamenca, the tapas culture and many more. . . And the beautiful Malaga, the second most important city of our muslim chapter, with an interesting phoenician and roman past. I am a passionate traveller and feel like a citizen of the world although I am a very proud Andalusian! I have travelled and lived in different countries across 3 different continents. I'm a dancer (love salsa!), a food lover, a great cook (that's what my friends say), love History and Art History and enjoy meeting new people and learning all kinds of new skills! I am also a foodie and can help you discover the amazing gastronomy of this region including its wines and crafted beers. Local gourmet cheese, EVOOs (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), cured meats, jams and more are waiting for you here in sunny Andalucia.
