I offer several tours in Bilbao, the coast and in San Sebastian. I am a big fan of history, architecture and gastronomy and I would love to meet you in one of my tours. I hope to see you soon! This is the perfect tour if you want to visit the major monuments and sights in the city without missing any explanations!!
We will begin our tour at the Guggenheim Museum. Its architecture, its history, the reason why we have a Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. . . all this requires a special time and stop in our tour. From there we will walk along the banks of the river to discover some of the buildings designed by the winners of the Pritzker Prize. When we reach the Isozaki Towers, we will enter the city center to visit the work of Norman Foster and a very special building in Bilbao called "Azkuna Zentroa". The building was built in 1909 as a wine warehouse, but in the early 2000s the Bilbao City Council decided to transform the building into a cultural and leisure center. The interior was designed by the famous French designer Phillippe Starck, you can't miss this building!!!! Then we will walk along the main street of Bilbao towards the Congress and Music Hall "Palacio Euskalduna" and we will finish at the Maritime Museum. Ready to visit Bilbao from an architectural point of view through its past, present and future?
