Private Shore Excursion in Bilbao: your dreamed tour with a local!

Iker was an excellent guide for our group of six. His knowledge of the city and region really made an impression on all of us. Our day with him started at a park outlook to peruse the city before we ventured down to walk the city. For the first part of our tour we opted for just for only looking at the outside of the Guggenheim. We felt this was the best choice since we had limited time and wanted to see a lot of the city too. He provided so much knowledge and different vantage points of the museum to really get the feel for all that went into that building and its permanent outside exhibits. He helped us appreciate this amazing place. We then ventured into old town. He was able to guide use through to get the most of the city. We ended with the best Pintxos that he helped us order. We couldn't have done that with out him. We got lots of steps in on a very warm day. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend in the city since we had to get back to port. ( Nothing to do with Iker, just our cruise schedule) He helped us fit a ton in 6 hours! I would highly recommend Iker and his tour!

Our tour guide Olatz was fantastic. She made the tour exciting and memorable. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was great. Could not recommend this tour any higher. A must if you want to learn about the area and it’s culture.

Iker was wonderful—he is very knowledgeable and compassionate about his Basque culture and his country. He shared/exposed us to how the locals enjoy their Sunday mornings in The Old Town—food was incredible—he also shared his vast knowledge of the Guggenheim museum, both outside and inside—-great tour—highly recommend this guide!!!

Iker collected us from the cruiseship and shared his passion for all things Basque, (language, history, culture, food), in a totally accessible way. In the Guggenheim he shared his knowledge, which was phenomenal, and a real great experience. We had a walking tour of the old town and then enjoyed excellent authentic pinxos.
