It's a mix of best products the sea and mountains, cooked in a traditional (or not!) way. Would you like to eat your way through San Sebastian gastronomic bars in a quick manner, you'd prefer to taste the Basque life in one of its restaurants, or perhaps you'd want to be a cook for a day? The city of Bilbao has an intense history: born as a merchant village, it grew up to be an industrial super city. Although that didn't last forever, and now Bilbao is a new place: a dynamic business city with a lot of life! The streets of this amazing city tell their story: how the District of the 7 Streets struggled through the centuries and became what it is today. The history lives in stone: ultra-modern buildings like Guggenheim Museum and Isozaki Towers are good neighbours of XVIII -XIXth century houses. Bilbao reflects vividly in the character of its inhabitants: arrogant and extremely proud of their place. All the jokes about the supremacy of Bilbao's people over everybody else have some point of truth… The duration of your visit will be adjusted to your availability.
Emma was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. We enjoyed our day with her walking through Bilbao, seeing and experience sights. She gave us an experience that we all agreed was one of the best experiences of our trip. We would definitely book with Emma again when we revisit this part of Spain!
Emma planned a day that included the sights we’d expected and some we didn’t (really enjoyed riding the Vizcaya transport bridge). She and I walked the old city streets and the Guggenheim, while my husband who uses a walker preferred waiting and chatting with our driver. She was very knowledgeable and responsive both before and during our visit. Thank you, Emma!

Emma met us at the port and we embarked on a beautiful day in Bilbao. First stop was the Viscaya Bridge, a unique transporter for vehicles and pedestrians across the river. Totally unexpected. We walked through the market and she explained the unique architecture styles of Bilbao. Emma pointed out buildings as we made our way to the Guggenheim. We only intended to view from the outside but she encouraged us to visit the exhibitions. We did and truly enjoyed the Guggenheim inside and out! 5 stars to Emma!
