For me traveling with you is like traveling with friends which I have to take care and present you the best attractions, to give you the right and honest advice about what to visit, what to eat, etc. I'm licensed as National Tour Guide in Romania since 2008 and specialized in private tours. I know that every person is different, has different preferences, different "speed" to visit and may like to spend time at their leisure to have lunch or a coffee or for shopping. Overview of your Brasov tour
A tour of the Saxon (German) heritages from Transylvania, cities like: Brasov, Sibiu and Sighisoara, fortified churches, Bran and Peles Castles, etc. I was born in the area and I know very well the attractions, history, traditions and local customs and few less known places and routes We'll have walking tours in the historic centers of Brasov, Sighisoara and Sibiu. The amazing fortified churches, unique samples of defensive and religious structures, UNESCO heritages can be seen only in this corner of Transylvania. We'll visit the fortified churches from Prejmer and Viscri. We'll visit the famous Bran Castle, also called Dracula's castle. It is dating since 1377 and it is an amazing gothic castle part of the Transylvanian defensive system. As a change I'm inviting you to see Peles castle in Sinaia, the former summer residence of the Romanian kings built at the end of 19th century in the mountains area. It is a marvelous palace, one of the nicest from Europe and a "must to visit" while you are in Romania.
Your Brasov tour itinerary
Day 1. Brasov Old Town and fortified churches: Prejmer and Viscri - Walking tour in the historic city of Brasov. Highlights: Council Square, Black Church, Weaver's Bastion, Ecaterina's Gate, etc - We'll visit Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO). - Next will be the Viscri village and church (UNESCO). Day 2. Day tour to Sibiu and Sighisoara - Walking tour in the medieval town of Sighisoara (UNESCO), one of the best preserved medieval towns. It is the birthplace of Vlad Dracula. - Walking tour of Sibiu, the oldest medieval town - former capital of Transylvania. Day 3. Castles Tour (Peles & Bran) - We'll visit the Peles castle, former summer residence of the Romanian kings. - Continue to the famous Bran castle, also called Dracula's Castle, dating since 1377. Note: It is possible to start or end the tour from Bucharest or another city but this is subject to a customized offer. On request I can recommend hotels to book by yourself or I can include hotel reservations in my services. Please inquire
