"Buna ziua" and a warm welcome from beautiful Transylvania in the heart of Romania! I am Florin, an authorized tour guide who was born in Brașov and still lives here with my family. I love Transylvania and the rest of Romania and would welcome the chance to show you our beautiful sites and culture. I graduated school and university studies in Brasov. After finishing the national touristic guide course, I started practicing this profession. I lived the experience of communism during my childhood, I passed through the events of the Revolution in 1989 and the difficult years of transition which was to come and now, here I am, having this wonderful and exciting profession of telling the travellers all over the world about this beautiful, full of history and tormenting country, Romania. I was lucky to have been born and lived in Brasov, a multicultural city with a special touristic potential, thanks to its geographical position in Transylvania, in the middle of the country, surrounded by mountains, with a rich history and a medieval architecture. I will tell you stories about all these things during our tours together. I practice only private tours, with my own car or in case of a family or a more numerous group (but not more than 8 people), I will rent a minibus. I'm waiting to join and guide you in Brasov, Transylvania! I graduated Transilvania University from Brasov (technical faculty) and I am a licensed national tour guide.

The town of Sighisoara - Schäsbrich in Saxon, Segesvár in Hungarian - is a medieval city unique in Europe for its historical center founded by the ethnic Saxons in the 13th century and included now in the UNESCO heritage. The medieval town is built on two levels, the upper one being situated on a hill and surrounded by walls and defense towers. During this tour with the departure from Brașov and arrival in Brașov, I suggest other attractions that can be visited, between Brașov and Sighisoara if not as famous as the first ones, at least as interesting and amazing.
- Brasov - Marienburg Fortress - was built at the beginning of the 13th century by the Teutonic knights being used as their headquarter in Transylvania. The last restoration was achieved between 2013 and 2017, in this way the fortress being saved from a slow but sure destruction. - Rupea Fortress, was built and expanded by the Saxons, between the 14th and the 17th centuries for defense and refugee in case the enemies' attacks. The fortress was renovated between 2010-2012 and it is an imposing presence on the national road. - The village of Viscri, (UNESCO heritage) and one of the first churches built by the ethnic Saxons at the beginning of the 13th century based on a romantic basilica from the 12th century can be found here too. The village became famous especially after Prince Charles, the heir to the British crown, bought a traditional house here. - Sighisoara - Back to Brasov
