Nature Hike in Bran Castle Land

Cosmin was very adaptable to what you wanted to do/see on the tour. He was an excellent guide both in the castle and during the mountain hike. He has an extensive knowledge of the History surrounding Bran and it was so interesting. He also has a passion for nature and will offer the best route walking - discussing plants and mushrooms along the way. He was very accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend. 👌 👍

Great tour with Cosmin. My husband and I, did this tour. Cosmic picked us up at the hotel. Bran castle was our first stop, and it took about an hour. Good experience and just enough information about the castle and history without overload. Next we stopped at a local store to get lunch provisions for later. Best part of the trip was a 5 mile walk through the woods. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. When the got to the top of our destination, Cosmin built a fire, cooked traditional Romanian sausage and served it with cheese, bread spread, bread and beer and wine. Delicious. After lunch, we made our way down and had a drink of water from the stream - quite refreshing - and filled up our water bottle. Cosmin thank you for such a memorable tour.

We got to see Bran Castle which was very beautiful and historic. Better communication about the difficulty level of the hike would have been helpful but otherwise The hike did not disappoint. We were rewarded by craggy peaks, grassy hills, steep cliffs, animals and trees. Our guide had excellent knowledge of the forest trails and the local wildlife. He was quite a character who interspersed personal stories with local history and traditions.

Our guide Cosmin was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the plants, animals, region and history of Romania as well. He is so passionate about the forest ( actually is a forest engineer) and kept us informed and entertained from 9am pick up until our 6pm drop off. We hiked to a beautiful location, he prepared us a wonderful Romanian lunch over a wood fire and made us feel like friends by the end of the day. We absolutely loved our tour and would highly recommend him to everyone.

Sadly 5 stars is the maximum, I would give more, if I could. Cosmin is a super friendly guide with enormous amounts of knowledge about the City, the wildlife, the history of Romania in general and lots of other things. I think we could not have chosen a better guide!

We spent two days with Cosmin - one a trip to Bran Castle and a walk in the mountains and one spent visiting citadels and fortified churches. We thoroughly enjoyed both. Cosmin's knowledge of history, experience as a ranger, his enthusiasm for the environment, not to mention his excellent English, made him the ideal guide. He is also a very careful driver! He was great fun to be with, we learned a lot and we would highly recommend him.
