For me traveling with you is like traveling with friends which I have to take care and present you the best attractions, to give you the right and honest advice about what to visit, what to eat, etc. I'm licensed as National Tour Guide in Romania since 2008 and specialized in private tours. I know that every person is different, has different preferences, different "speed" to visit and may like to spend time at their leisure to have lunch or a coffee or for shopping. That's why all my tours are customizable and I'm ready to design a tailor-made private tour according to your wishes. I'm inviting you to discover the highlights of Transylvania being with me. I'll be your local friend who has a great pleasure to present you the beauties of the region, the history, traditions but also stories or legends about the visited places which are less known, realities about the local people, their past and why not, their life in nowadays time. It is a great short break tour of Transylvania. In a limited time, just four days, I'll include as many visits as possible and to offer you a great experience of Transylvania. Our trip focus on the so called Classic Triangle of Transylvania, the area of Brasov - Sighisoara - Sibiu. These are the best three old towns of Transylvania and in their surroundings we have an important number of castles, fortresses, the famous Saxon fortified churches, beautiful villages, etc. The area has great landscapes over the Carpathians mountains and the spectacular hills and woods. It is an excellent choice if you plan a pre cruise or post cruise excursion in Transylvania.
We enjoyed David and our tour of Brasov and the surrounding areas. He was a fantastic conversationalist with both fun and indepth knowledge of the area. He was attentive to my questions prior to our tour and I appreciated his timely responses. He also was a safe and excellent driver on busy roads. We would highly recommend him as a professional tour guide whilst visiting Romania.

David was an excellent guide and we fully enjoyed our time with him in Transylvania. He was very knowledgeable about his country and its history and shared a lot of information with us. He was also flexible in accommodating requests such as photo stops along the way, and added some additional flavour beyond the stated itinerary such as showing us some of the local sites during our drive through the mountains from Brasov to Bucharest. We would recommend David to any future travelers.
Day 1. Brasov Historic Center and fortified churches Walking tour in the historic city of Brasov. We'll visit Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO) and Harman Fortified Church. Day 2. Day tour to Sighisoara area Visit one of the most charming Transylvanian villages - Viscri. We'll continue to Rupea fortress, an impressive citadel dating since 13th century Walking tour in the medieval town of Sighisoara. Day 3. BRASOV - SIBIU - SIBIEL - BRASOV Drive to Sibiu. Walking tour in the Old Town. Visit mountain villages from Sibiu area, places with a long history and tradition. Horse driven wagon trip (Optional). Traditional home-made lunch, drinks included. Day 4. Castel Tour Visits at Peles Castle and Bran Castle Note: It is possible to start the tour from Bucharest or other city but this is subject of a customized offer. On request I can recommend hotels to book by yourself or I can include hotel reservations in my services. Please inquire.
