Highlights of Transylvania

I'm inviting you to discover the highlights of Transylvania being with me. I'll be your local friend who has a great pleasure to present you the beauties of the region, the history, traditions but also stories or legends about the visited places which are less known, realities about the local people, their past and why not, their life in nowadays time. It is a great short break tour of Transylvania. In a limited time, just four days, I'll include as many visits as possible and to offer you a great experience of Transylvania. Our trip focus on the so called Classic Triangle of Transylvania, the area of Brasov - Sighisoara - Sibiu. These are the best three old towns of Transylvania and in their surroundings we have an important number of castles, fortresses, the famous Saxon fortified churches, beautiful villages, etc. The area has great landscapes over the Carpathians mountains and the spectacular hills and woods. It is an excellent choice if you plan a pre cruise or post cruise excursion in Transylvania.

Day 1. Brasov Historic Center and fortified churches Walking tour in the historic city of Brasov. We'll visit Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO) and Harman Fortified Church. Day 2. Day tour to Sighisoara area Visit one of the most charming Transylvanian villages - Viscri. We'll continue to Rupea fortress, an impressive citadel dating since 13th century Walking tour in the medieval town of Sighisoara. Day 3. BRASOV - SIBIU - SIBIEL - BRASOV Drive to Sibiu. Walking tour in the Old Town. Visit mountain villages from Sibiu area, places with a long history and tradition. Horse driven wagon trip (Optional). Traditional home-made lunch, drinks included. Day 4. Castel Tour Visits at Peles Castle and Bran Castle Note: It is possible to start the tour from Bucharest or other city but this is subject of a customized offer.
