Your full Rotterdam experience begins here ! Walk with me from Central Station throughout the city over the markt and into the market hall, eat a few snacks. (Inclusive in the price) I'll tell you about the area and the history, architecture while I guide you through the streets of the city and take you on a river taxi over the Maas, to the cruise ship SS Rotterdam. Take a look in SS ROTTERDAM a luxury cruise ship from the 1960. From there we walk to Hotel New York, ( Holland-America line ) and you'll see the beautiful breathtaking skyline of Rotterdam. See for your own eyes why they call it Manhattan on the Maas. Option Euromast a 180 meter lookout tower. Don't forget to look at my profile I have a video of the tour)
Judith met us, had organised an itinerary. She lives locally and knows Rotterdam well. She organised water taxis, gave breaks where required. And we saw the full itinerary. She gave us a bag of local snacks, and organised us to taste local snacks like small Dutch pancakes, a local sausage etc. Highly recommended.
We had an excellent walking tour with Judith. Rotterdam is a very interesting city and Judith's tour took us around the best parts. The tour covers the city centre and some of the outlying areas. Using the water taxis was a great way to get around. You will have a most interesting tour if you choose Judith as your guide.
Judith took a group of 4 seniors (Canadian and US) through Rotterdam on June 22, 2024. From the moment we booked Judith was very easy to work with. She adjusted the tour to the accommodate us. She gave expert background info on what makes Rotterdam the beautiful city it is. She had made 'Dutch treat' goodie bags for each as an introduction to Holland. She spoke fluent English, she paced the walk and showed us various unique locations in the city. It was very obvious that she loves Rotterdam and has a wealth of information about the history and the unique culture of the city. In her role as tour guide, she excelled as cultural ambassador of Rotterdam. Highly recommended!
Judith went beyond my expectations w.r.t. to our tour. She is a friendly outgoing person ready to please the customer in any way she can. She went on a tour of Delft that was not on the itinerary. How is that for accomodating. She had coffee and snacks for us to enjoy during our tour. She really knows Rotterdam and was eager to share he knowledge of what we were seeing.
Our family of four (two teens) had so much fun touring Rotterdam with Judith. She had lots of fun facts and history to share and we really got to see so much of the city. The architecture is so unique; each building looks so different from every other. Very cool city. Thank you for being amazing, Judith and for the goodie bag! We're still enjoying all the tasty treats. We'd definitely tour with you again should we find ourselves back in The Netherlands.
