Delft drops you into the 'fairytale' world of exquisite pottery of the 17th century. This handpainted pottery is worldfamous and exclusively available in the many picturesque shops. Delft is without any doubt one of the finest old citys in the Netherlands, the lively historical City centre of Delft is a must see. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Pieter! He was very knowledgable and interesting. One thing of note - the cheese market happened to be going on the day we were going to Gouda. Pieter reached out the evening before to see if we could leave a little earlier so that we could experience it. It was truly one of biggest highlights of our trip. Would highly recommend having Pieter as a guide!
Loved this tour. Pieter was welcoming , friendly, and very knowledgeable of the sights we visited. He made sure we saw all of the highlights at each city. As a special treat he took made a bonus stop in Rotterdam so I could get a picture there. We throughly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the extra effort Pieter made to add the Rotterdam stop. Super day exploring these beautiful cities! Pieter was knowledgeable but didn’t overwhelm us with facts. He was able to set an appropriate pace for our group recognizing our particular interests. He was punctual and an excellent driver!
Pieter is the most pleasant of people. He is a wonderful driver, efficient and safe. He is very familiar with the three cities which we visited. I noted he tipped the music guy with his organ, which he was not required to do but he was obviously thinking the guy was working to keep the tourist happy. The day will pass quickly with him.
