Hello everyone, It is a pleasure to introduce myself here. My name is Kevin and besides guiding I have many more fun hobbies. For example, I read a lot, especially historical novels, and I enjoy being in the kitchen and trying out recipes from various other countries. Once a year I also travel as a tour guide for a travel organization with mentally disabled people. This is always a great thing to do! After working as a rep, for more than 5 years, at several destinations in the world, I choosed to start guiding in Delft. I am a social guy and it is my hobby to work with tourists and tell them everything I know. Humor, practical information and facts are important during my tours. I am guiding now for more than 13 years. In those years I showed many tourists the beautiful city of Delft and the area around it. By the way: I have my official guiding certification! The area where I mainly guide is located around the cities of Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague. These cities have a lot to offer, but the surroundings are also beautiful. For a nice walk, but also for cycling. When I am free, I can always be found in this pleasant environment. On this website I have given some examples of possible tours. But there is so much possible! That is why I also like to make customized tours, with your wishes incorporated. I think it is great to put together a nice program with you, so you will have a unique experience during your holidays. Hope to see you in the beautiful Netherlands. ANVR licensed tourguide NA

Rotterdam is a city that asks to be discovered and you need to actually experience the DNA of the city. See the architecture, feel the vibe, hear the harbour and sail the river. Once the largest port in the world. Today a city where there is always something going on, where there is always something to see. Mainly thanks to the flowing artery of the city, the river Maas. Water plays an important role during our walk in Rotterdam. (Hopefully not because of the rain). We walk across the Erasmus Bridge, which connects the north of the city to the south, and through the Maastunnel. In many places we see the Maas, with the ships that are on their way to the port, or sailing in the other direction, towards the backyard of the country. I have lived near Rotterdam all my life. A city to be proud of and surely, I am! So I designed a tour specially for first time visitors. It covers a lot of highlights and participants will experience plenty of Wow! That is for sure.
We will meet at the Central Trainstation of Rotterdam and start our visit. Most of the tour we walk, but occasionally we use public transport and of course we sail a bit on the river Maas. These highlights you will see: - Town hall at our mainroad Coolsingel. - Modern markethall with beautiful painting at the ceiling . - Famous yellow Cubehouses. - Erasmus bridge connecting North and South. - Hotel New York, from where the ships left for America. - Euromast, since 1960 the tallest tower, but not anymore. - Maastunnel, we walk 'under' the river Maas. If there is still time left, you will also see: - Museum Boymans van Beuningen and the Depot. - Steamship SS Rotterdam. For sure we drink a coffee at one of the most charming locations of the city.
