The Full experience the Windmills in Kinderdijk is something that everyone should experience! With me as a tourguide it's not something boring just visiting some windmills, Noo! I'll pick you up from the port or hotel or when you want. First you receive some goodies from the Netherlands and Rotterdam. You on vacation, so relax the car ride to the Windmills while I will tell you the history of Rotterdam. Once we get there we will got on a boat ride to see the Windmills up close. (Up on avaliable request, weather conditions apply) if that's the case ill inform you ahead and we can walk by them and do another boat ride in the national park) after the boat ride we can see a documentary about this great national area. I feel it's time for a cup of coffee and a traditional dutch apple pie. Let's go for a short walk and see if one of the Windmills is open for visitors. We have a short drive to a great local restaurant and have lunch together! After this I'll drop you back off at the pick up location.
Judith was a wonderful guide and made sure we had a great experience at both kinderdijk and Rotterdam! She is very knowledgeable of the area and made sure to show us lots of historical sites along the way as well as explain the importance of certain events that created these interesting places. She had us back to the ship on time as well even though we crammed a lot into a short stop. Highly recommend!
Judith is the absolute best! It was like hanging out with an old friend all day. She is very knowledgeable about the windmills and we learned quite a bit! She is very proud of her Dutch heritage and is eager to share what she loves about the area. I have a bad knee and wasn’t able to walk long distances so she got a wheelchair and pushed me all around so I wouldn’t miss anything! If you get the chance to take one of her tours you will not be disappointed!
Judith is an amazing tour guide! We were so lucky to secure her for the Kinderdijk Windmill tour. Her knowledge of the area was exemplary. Judith’s communication was reassuring as we were arriving on a cruise ship. From pickoff to drop off, we were treated royally. Thank you, Judith, for a stellar day!
My only regret is that we won’t be in Rotterdam longer and be able to go on more tours with Judith! Judith was an absolute delight, attending to our every need! Well done, Judith!
Judith was a fantastic tour guide and we really enjoyed our visit to the Kinderdijk windmills. She was careful to move at our pace and was even able to secure a wheelchair for my husband once we reached the windmills, so he would not have to walk as much and therefore would be able to see so, so much more. We also enjoyed our scenic drive through Rotterdam, sipping on the coffee that Judith had greeted us with.
Judith was fantastic-personality wise and patient with my elderly mom. Flexible with the tour, showed us other sites versus sitting in traffic before the windmill tour. She helped secure a wheelchair and walked us to check in at the airport with our luggage at the end of the tour. She was a delight and went the extra mile! We liked our goodie bag too! Cheers.
