Rotterdam, one of the biggest sea-ports in the world, waas heavily bombed in WW2. This explains why modern architecture is so typical for this vivid international city. There is enough to discover! Do it on a 3 hour walking trip with a local guide. We will sense the atmosphere of this working-class-heroe city by walking from Central Station to The Old Harbour. Lets eat typical Dutch raw herring (if you dare) at one of the biggest street markets of Europe, smell the food in the modern Market Hall and be surprised by the architecture of the Cubic Houses (to be visited when open) How can you live in a house that consists of walls that are diagonal? Your Rotterdam tour itinerary
-3 hour Rotterdam on foot covering the highlights. *Food Hall, *Street Market, *Old Harbour and *Of course we will visit the Cubic Houses on the inside (when open). Location of Pick-up and agreed end location to be determined as well as starting time. A part of the tour we might use Public transportation. The basic distance is about 3 miles for what we will have three hours so the pace will be gentle and there will be time enough to look at things, take pictures and do explanations. The maximum group size is and price is calculated for up to 4 guests because of the use of public transportation on pre-paid cards. Bigger groups of course are possible on seperate customized calculation)
